This disclosure applies to all customers who have a continuing relationship with us, such as:
Our online banking balances include the following current day activity:
Items noted with ‘Memopost Presentments’ have been presented to the bank, but have not been processed. They do reflect in your ‘Memo Available Balance’, but do not adjust your ‘Current Ledger Balance’ until processed. However, additional physical presentments not yet received by the bank may adjust this balance throughout the day. The bank cannot anticipate when physical items may be presented for payment.
Visa Debit Cards function on ‘Memo Ledger Balances’. Therefore, an overdraft may be created if the Visa Debit Card is used and the ‘Current Ledger Balance’ falls below $0.00, even though the ‘Memo Ledger Balance’ may have reflected a positive balance earlier in the day. This scenario is a result of additional presentments made to the bank during the day. The bank does not have the information necessary to determine the customer’s book balance. Only the customer can determine this amount.
Funds deposited through teller transactions before 2:00 pm are available, subject to federal regulations, the next business day. In some cases, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds beyond the first business day. Then, the funds will generally be available by the second business day after the day of deposit. Business days are Mondays through Friday, except federal holidays.
